Clinical Exercise: A Studio Built for Healing, Recovery & Movement That Lasts

corrective exercise studio Spokane

Some partnerships go beyond business—they become part of your journey. For me, that partnership is with Jake, founder of Clinical Exercise in Spokane. He’s not just a client—he’s someone I trust with my own recovery, movement, and well-being.

We’ve been working together for 11 years, and I can say with absolute certainty: Jake is one of a kind.

How It Started: From Shared Space to Specialized Studio

I met Jake when he was a personal trainer at Youthful Horizons Therapy. He was already showing signs of being more than your average trainer—someone deeply invested in healing, in helping people move better, feel better, and return to their lives pain-free.

Over the years, I’ve watched him build his dream—step by step—into what is now Clinical Exercise, a space that reflects his mission, his expertise, and his heart.

Jake’s Approach: Science Meets Intuition

Jake isn’t just a trainer—he’s a certified myofascial therapist, a movement specialist, and a true practitioner of corrective exercise. He blends clinical knowledge with hands-on bodywork to help clients who are dealing with everything from post-surgery complications to chronic pain and structural imbalances.

Every session with him is personal, precise, and purposeful. He creates fully customized programs that address root causes—not just symptoms.

The Studio: Designed for True Wellness

Clinical Exercise is not your average gym—it’s a sanctuary for healing.

Together, we’ve outfitted his space with tools that support movement, recovery, and performance at the highest level:

  • Octane cardio machines for smooth, joint-friendly conditioning

  • Hoist and Freemotion strength equipment for targeted, functional training

  • A Vibe Plate stretch cage for full-body recovery and neuromuscular activation

  • A Power Plate massage gun, used during his bodywork sessions to release deep tension and support post-session recovery

Every piece was selected intentionally to serve Jake’s methods—to elevate, not complicate, the way he works.

A Personal Testimony

Jake has been my go-to for recovery for over a decade. His work helped me come back from:

  • A serious car accident, where another vehicle flipped onto mine

  • Gastrocnemius release surgery

  • Multiple foot surgeries and post-op complications

  • Broken bones and movement challenges that affected my day-to-day life

And honestly, I don’t believe I’d be walking pain-free today without his care and guidance. That’s the level of impact he brings—not just to me, but to so many others who walk through his doors looking for relief and real answers.

More Than a Gym—A Lifeline

Clinical Exercise is a studio built for transformation. Not in the flashy, six-pack-before-summer kind of way—but in the can-you-walk-again-without-pain kind of way.

Jake’s work changes lives. And I’m beyond proud to have played a role in building a space that reflects the integrity and intention of his mission.
